Timothy
O. Davis was born in Camilla, Georgia in 1955. He is a
graduate of Darton College, receiving his A.A., Cum Laude, in 1975,
the University of Georgia receiving his A.B., Magna Cum Laude, in
1977 and his J.D., Cum Laude, in 1982. Mr. Davis practices primarily
in areas of real estate, commercial transactions, real
estate-related litigation, and bankruptcy, with an emphasis on
creditor representation. Mr. Davis is a member of the Dougherty
Circuit Bar Association, and the State Bar of Georgia. He has spoken to area lenders
and health care professionals on the subjects of bankruptcy and
commercial matters and is a member of the Bank Counsel Section of
the Georgia Bankers Association. He has been a speaker for the
Institute for Continuing Legal Education in Georgia on the subject
of bankruptcy litigation and has served the State Bar as a member of
its Committee on Professionalism. Mr. Davis has also served as
Chairman of River House, Inc. and on the Board of Directors of Open
Arms, Inc., a nonprofit umbrella agency managing a number of
programs for abused and neglected children. He is a member of St.
Paul’s Episcopal Church where he has served as a member of the
Vestry, the Church Executive Committee, and as Church Treasurer.
