David
W. Orlowski was born in Riverhead,
New York in 1964. He attended Wake Forest University where he
received his B.A. cum laude in 1987 and then the University of
Georgia Law School, obtaining his J.D. in 1991. He was a member of
and served as the Vice-President of Phi Delta Phi. Mr. Orlowski joined the firm of
Langley & Lee, LLC in April 2004. He had previously been a partner
with Hodges, Erwin, Hedrick & Coleman, LLP, where insurance defense
was his primary focus. He subsequently served as Vice-President of
the legal department and in-house counsel for Heritage Bank of the
South. Mr. Orlowski is a member of the Dougherty Circuit and
American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, and the American
Health Lawyers Association. He currently serves as a member of the
State Bar of Georgia Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee and has
served as such since 2001. Mr. Orlowski practices primarily in the
areas of health care law, real estate and commercial transactions.
Mr. Orlowski is active in his Church, St. Paul's Episcopal Church
and in community affairs, currently serving as
President of Easter Seals of Southern Georgia, as a member of the
Board of Directors of the Southwest Georgia Fellowship of Christian
Athletes, and as a member of the Dougherty Rotary Club.
