Donald W. (Fred) Lee was born in Albany, Georgia in 1960. He graduated summa cum laude from Mercer University in 1982, and then attended Mercer’s Walter F. George School of Law, receiving his J.D., cum laude, in 1985. Mr. Lee was a member of the Mercer Law Review and the Brainerd Currie Honor Society. After graduation Mr. Lee was selected as a law clerk to the Honorable Maurice M. Paul, United States District Court, Northern District of Florida, and occupied this position from 1985 until 1987. In 1987 Mr. Lee joined the firm of Perry, Walters, & Lippitt as an associate. He became a partner in that firm on January 1, 1990, but withdrew later in 1990, when Langley & Lee was formed. Mr. Lee’s experience has been primarily in litigation for insurance and corporate clients and he also has developed expertise in the healthcare industry. Mr. Lee is a member of the Dougherty Circuit and American Bar Associations, the State Bar of Georgia, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the Atlanta Claims Association.
