Lauren
M. Brock was born in Albany, Georgia
in 1982. She attended the University of Georgia School of Law where
she received her J.D., cum laude, in 2007. She received her B.A.,
summa cum laude, from Emory University in 2004 and her A.A. from
Oxford College of Emory University in 2002. Mrs. Brock was a member
of the law school’s Moot Court Board and the Honor Council Hearing
Panel. She was also the recipient of the 2007 William King Meadow
Award. She is a member of the Dougherty Circuit and the American Bar
Association, and Georgia Bar Association.
Mrs. Brock is also licensed to practice in the State of Alabama. She was admitted to the
Alabama Bar in May of 2008.
Mrs. Brock’s practice
focuses on litigation, personal injury, health care law, and banking, with an
emphasis on creditor representation.
Mrs. Brock is active in her community. She is currently the
President of the Albany Area Young Lawyers Division, a member of
Theatre Albany’s Board of Directors, and a Trustee on the Board of
Girl’s Inc. of Albany, Georgia. She is a graduate of Leadership
Albany’s Class of 2010, a program established for the purpose of
identifying and developing leaders in the Albany Community. She also
serves on the State Mock Trial Board as chair for the Albany
Regional Competition each year.
